Terashni Pillay

Terashni Pillay is the CEO of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Africa and an accomplished business leader with extensive experience driving business transformation and growth across the South African insurance industry. Recognised as one of the country’s youngest executive and non-executive directors, she was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2025.

Passionate about empowering women, entrepreneurs, and future leaders, Terashni is a respected voice on leadership, innovation, and inclusive economic growth. She regularly contributes to industry initiatives and is committed to creating opportunities that enable individuals and businesses across Africa to thrive.

Beyond her executive role, Terashni serves as a Strategic and Philanthropic Advisor to PingLady, a South African non-profit dedicated to empowering women through technology, digital inclusion, and entrepreneurship. In this capacity, she provides strategic guidance, supports philanthropic partnerships, and contributes to initiatives that drive meaningful social impact in education, innovation, and technology.

An engineer and scientist by training, Terashni holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and Environmental Science from the University of the Witwatersrand and an MBA from GIBS, University of Pretoria. She also serves on several industry boards and trusts focused on advancing societal change.

Creston Mascini is a visionary leader dedicated to empowering individuals through education and practical skills development. Holding both a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management, Creston brings a unique blend of strategic insight and a passion for human upliftment to his work.

At the Hatfield Christian Church, Creston spearheaded numerous successful training programs and developed student accommodation, fostering environments where young people could thrive and be discipled. This foundation led him to establish GoVentures, a dynamic business focused on cultivating entrepreneurial spirit and vocational expertise in the youth.

Through GoVentures, Creston is currently channelling his energy into the GoArtisan Training Centre. As an accredited training centre, GoArtisan Training Centre is committed to equipping individuals with the in-demand skills to become certified electricians, thereby creating pathways to sustainable livelihoods and contributing to community development. Creston’s mission is clear: to build futures, one skilled professional at a time.

Creston joined PingLady as an adviser in 2019 and transitioned to a director role in 2024. Bringing years of strategic insight and guidance to the leadership team — along with a shared vision of empowering young people through industry-relevant skills – Creston continues to play a key role in shaping PingLady’s direction and driving meaningful impact.
